Personal circumstances have forced us to cancel the show on June 12 at De Sjor in Roggel. Sorry to anyone who would like to come to see the show. This is however the only date we have cancelled, other gigs will be played as planned.

Gigs:
On March 6 we will play with Nice Beaver and The Aurora Project in Scum in Katwijk (NL). Doors open at 21:00. For more information, click here

ATTENTION: This site mentions we would also be playing with these top acts in De Pul in Uden, this gig has however been cancelled. Please keep an eye on our site for the new date.
Thereafter, on May 14, we will be playing with the gentlemen from Mangrove in De Nieuwe Nor in Heerlen (NL). Showtime is 20:15. For more information, please click here.

We have just been informed by the organisation of pRockFest that the festival, which was planned for 2 October has been cancelled for financial reasons.

For all those who would like to see Knight Area that day, we still have a lot of other gigs planned, visit our tour dates page. We hope they will be as exciting as the CD presentation last night in Het Kasteel, thanks everyone for your excellent support, we are completely overwhelmed!

Besides all the summer activities as holydays and becoming a father, we also have a CD release party in 'Het Kasteel' to focus on. In the past couple of weeks we have been rehearsing the songs from the Realm of Shadows album.

We already played a couple of these songs at gigs in the past, but we have not played the other songs live.

And we also changed some of our equipment and instruments, which takes time to get used to as well.

The mixing of the new Knight Area album Realm Of Shadows is finished! A big thank you to Gijs and Gerben who have been working their asses off these last months to get the work done. We are thrilled by the result and we are sure you will be too! The mastering will be done by Bob Katz, who also did the mastering for Under A New Sign.

We are very happy to announce that our light engineer Arie Groen has become the proud father of a daughter! Her name is Anne, she was born December 24th at 14:48 and weighs 4280 gram and mother and child are doing very well. Visit Ongekend Talent (Dutch only, sorry folks!) and listen to samples of three of our new songs of the forthcoming album 'Under a New Sign'. Be sure to vote (everyday !) for the songs on the right hand side of the screen. The more votes we get from all of you, the higher the ranking of the songs, the better the chances that Dutch radio station '3 FM' will give Knight Area some airplay! Think about it... there's definitely too little airplay for alternative and symphonic rock on Dutch radio !!!

The recordings for the new album are going very well and the various musicians are walking the studio door flat to do their things. Even Joop tried out his flute in the studio last week...
